MI HISTORIA

About

I live in a forest looking at the lake, surrounded by almost vigin nature, everything is so beautiful around, that I inevitably ended up painting landscapes and forests, it could not be otherwise.

I grew up in the field close to Santiago de Chile , in a big family with lot of cousins ​​and brothers, we didn't  know much art but we did about of nature, animals, gardens, aesthetics and decoration. My dad ophthalmologist in the world of medicine, I sure got from him  my self-discipline and rigor.

I went to a school which was very far from art and it gave very little space for my creative being emerge with enough force so I decides to study architecture as a shy gesture of approach and that was finally my university education.

Being there I understood and I knew the art world and my teachers, studied painting at universities in Santiago and London. And I started painting, painting, and painting, for years and years. There were many exhibitions, awards, fairs. But there was also a stop.

For several reasons the stop lasted 8 years.

And today, mother of two and having a husband, as if motherhood and lack of time had pushed me to find  my voice (or so I think) ...

Well this is me now, hope you enjoy and love my artwork like me. welcome to my world

Vivo en un bosque en la montaña mirando un lago rodeada de vegetación nativa y casi virgen, todo es tan lindo alrededor que inevitablente termine pintando paisajes, montañas y bosques, no podía ser de otra manera.

Crecí en el campo, cerca de Santiago de Chile, en una enorme familia de primos y hermanos en que no se sabía mucho de arte pero sí de naturaleza, animales, jardines, estética y decoración. Mi papá oftalmólogo en el mundo de la medicina seguro de ahí saque mi autodisciplina y rigor.

Fui a un colegio muy alejado del arte y dio muy poco espacio a que mi ser creativo emergiera con fuerza suficiente tal vez por eso elegí estudiar Arquitectura como un tímido gesto de acercamiento y esa fue finalmente mi formación universitaria.

Estando ahí entendí y conocí el mundo del arte y a mis maestros, estudié pintura en universidades en Santiago y Londres. Y empecé a pintar, a pintar, y a pintar,  durante años y años. Hubo muchas exposiciones, premios, ferias. Pero también hubo un stop.

Por varios motivos el stop duró 8 años.

Y hoy, mamá de dos niñitas y marido, como si la maternidad y la falta de tiempo me hubieran empujado finalmente a encontrar mi voz (o eso creo)...

En fin esta soy yo ahora, espero disfrutes y ames mis trabajos tanto como yo. Bienvenidos a mi mundo.
